Mapping Team

8th Grade Stream Team

This isStream Survey and the Mapping Team. A special guest came to help us put when we were in the field. His name was Matt Swanson, a free lance biologist. He was a lot of help in this study. We thank him for taking his time in helping us.

We are the Stream Mapping Team. Part of the larger Team, the Stream Team. We are vital to the team because we provide an accurate and up to date map of Brush Creek. All the other segments of the team relied on us so they could also represent correct data for their presentations. It was a lot of fun, and some hard work. We drew and colored lots of maps.

This is Mark, and here he is in the field, drawing outa section of the stream that we were in that day.

This is Quinn and Evelyn mapping at the

Mouth of Brush Creek.

The Survey Team needed extra assistance so Mark jumped in and helped measure depth of the water.

Evelyn, who is patiently waiting for the rest of the team to move forward so we could map out the next section. This part is often proved exasperating.

Lucky for Evelyn andQuinn. Natural sand seats make great cushions at the Lower part of Brush Creek for mapping and measuring !

Unlike Shane from the Photography Team, we don&aposlt like to take breaks.

Some of the tools we used to draw the maps were,

· Number 2 pencils

· Waterproof paper for out in the field.

· Clipboards

· Ruler

· And the Survey Team
